OASIS AND BEADY Eye frontman Liam Gallagher is 26 years above the legal age limit for buying alcohol and cigarettes, but that didn’t matter on Saturday evening when he tried to buy a packet of smokes.
The singer was voted the greatest frontman of all time in 2010 (ahead of names like Freddie Mercury, Bono, and his number one influence – John Lennon).
Yet somehow he was obviously not recognized by the shop assistant who served him when he attempted to buy cigarettes.
Or maybe he was recognized, and the shop assistant was just a Noel fan trying to wreck his head.
It worked anyway, because he was fairly pissed off.
He took to Twitter to say the world has ‘gone mad’.
Fans immediately hopped in with some Oasis lyric jokes.
