VALENTINE’S DAY CAN leave even the most romantic of us in a bit of a scramble.

You put things on the long finger and then by the time the big day arrives the florists are out of roses, the restaurants have been filled up since the end of January, and you’re in a bit of a pickle.

Look, it’s actually fine. Just go down to Lidl and get yourselves some heart-shaped chicken nuggets.

Because nothing says romance like breaded meat. Nothing.
