ShowbizSpy says Ballymena’s Big Fella intervened when he heard that a group of teenagers were throwing stones at the animal.
Our Liam apparently told the teens to back off and stayed to give the poor dog a pet while the police assessed its injuries.

Britney Spears’ baby sister Jamie-Lynn got married. Yep, you read that right: Zoey 101 got hitched.
The younger Spears sister – who is now 22, would you believe? – tied the knot with James Watson in New Orleans last Friday, with big sister Britters among the bridesmaids.
Jamie-Lynn’s daughter Maddie was the flower girl and wore a miniature version of her mammy’s gúna: Minus the plunging neckline, obviously.
Oh, and mammy Spears totally wore what looked like a wedding dress too.
