People are loving this comedian's attempts to pronounce Irish names like they're spelled


WE ALL KNOW the pain of having an Irish name abroad.


Comedian Gary Lyons of Lyonsey’s Den decided to attempt to pronounce some well known Irish names like they’re spelled, and it’s eye opening.

The Tipp man pronounces the likes of Siobhán, Ruaidhri, Saoirse, and Aoibhann as they’re spelled and it makes absolutely no sense at all

Er, perhaps we shouldn’t be so hard on people abroad?
