These Mayo girls were spotted holding up the most Irish sign at the darts

Live TV needs more of this.

THERE ARE SOME questions that need to be asked – and some that also need the platform of a live national sports broadcast to flourish.

Spotted by eagle-eyed Reddit Ireland user Agent4777 during the World Darts Championship on Sunday night on Sky was this very Irish question:

The as yet unidentified group are clearly Irish – as you can tell from both the question being asked and the green hats being sported – and one of them is also wearing a Mayo-coloured tie. So for now at least they can be claimed as part of the green and red brigade.

It’s hard to know what people watching across the water would make of such an inquiry. Perhaps they think it’s a delicate reference to a person’s head after a night out – but we all know the reality.
