one second every day

Leitrim woman's 'one second every day' video will make you smile

Teacher Edwina Guckian filmed one second of every day in 2014 – and the resulting clip is just so lovely.

THIS IS EDWINA Guckian (and her fiancé) – she’s a primary school teacher and trad musician from Drumsna, Co Leitrim.

Edwina decided to film a short clip of her life every day in 2014, to preserve her memories of the year. She writes:

I have so many happy memories of events over the years that I never want to forget. So I said to myself I’m going to record one second of every day in 2014 and always be able to look back and appreciate how special that year was.

The short film takes in several adorable dogs, trips to Paris, Rome, and New York, lots and lots of Irish dancing, and even Edwina’s own engagement.

At over seven minutes long it’s lengthier than the average viral video but if you stick with it, it’s a sweet insight into the life of a young Irish woman.
