Stop what you’re doing and look at this rabbit in a wheelchair

This is Lily.


LILY THE LIONHEAD rabbit arrived at the North Texas Rabbit Sanctuary with a broken back due to a household accident, and had both back legs amputated.

She gets around on a custom made cart and manages just fine.

The Haven of Hope centre at the NTRS has some other special needs rabbits on their books…


Jellybean suffered injuries after he was taken from his home and abused. He suffered a broken back and eventually had two legs amputated.


Dublin and Sicily

Eight-year-old Dublin is in full health, but acts as a kind of guide rabbit to Sicily, who’s blind in both eyes because of a tumour.
