SOMEHOW, OVER the last ten years, Ryan Seacrest quietly took over the world. He’s everywhere, and he’s not done yet.
Yesterday, he was announced as the new co-host of one of America’s most popular breakfast TV shows, Live with Kelly.
The news was met with some confusion for those familiar with Seacrest, namely: How? How would he juggle hosting a daily TV show in New York with all of his other jobs, mostly based in LA?
Because Ryan Seacrest has a LOT of other jobs. Here’s a quick run down.
He hosts not one but two radio shows
American Top 40 is a weekly gig, but On Air with Ryan Seacrest is a three hour morning radio show that he hosts every day. Every day!
And handles the red carpet for E!
He finished up a 15-year stint as the host of American Idol last year, but you can still catch him chatting up celebrities for E! on every big red carpet.
He produces several TV shows
Seacrest’s production company is responsible for the juggernaut that is Keeping Up With The Kardashians (as well as all its spin offs) and another reality show called Shahs of Sunset.
He’s got endorsement deals
According to Time, he’s worked on “strategic initiatives” with Ford for years, and also promotes Coca Cola.
He has a line of men’s clothing
It’s called Ryan Seacrest Distinction, and features suits, ties, wallets, belts – anything you could want.
And is the chairman of a non-profit organisation
The Ryan Seacrest Foundation works with children’s hospitals, and he’s pretty hands on with it, if his Instagram is anything to go by.
He also manages to have a girlfriend, model Shayna Taylor.
So where does he get the TIME? What is his secret?
Is there an army of clones that he sends out to do his bidding, while overseeing it all from a comfy armchair? Do we ever see the real Ryan Seacrest?
