Irish pubs will not be open on Good Friday, as usual. Frances Fitzgerald announced today that’s there’s not a glimmer of hope, it’s back to the house parties for us.

However, Ballsbridge pub The Bridge 1859 has come up with an innovative way to get around the ban… EAT your alcohol.
