What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

First Dates Ireland (RTÉ 2, 9.30pm)

Thursday nights got approximately 78% better with the return of First Dates Ireland last week. Everyone fell in love with Paddy and Lauren while Antonio lobbed the gob like it was 3am in Coppers. Can tonight match a strong opening episode? And with plenty of proper matches last week, will the second episode be as successful? We’ll all be watching. #FirstDatesIRL

The Tommy Tiernan Show (RTÉ One, 10.15pm)

We’re on to the fourth episode of the chat show – and it’s gone down very well so far. The key to its success has been Tiernan’s conversational interview style and the spontaneity of not knowing who the guests will be. One to flick over to after First Dates is done.

Beware the Slenderman (Sky Atlantic, 10pm)

If you’re a meme expert, you’ll know what the Slenderman is. It’s creepy AF, and tonight Sky Atlantic are showing a new documentary exploring how the legend of The Slenderman became a focal point in an actual murder investigation.

Everybody’s talking about… Alec Baldwin is going to be *hosting* SNL in a couple of weeks

Oh. Yes.

Noted for his spot on impression of the new President every week, Baldwin will have a whole episode to work with on February 11th, rather than just one sketch:

This is going to be gooooood.
