UTV Ireland: No, we're NOT combining Tallafornia and Geordie Shore for a super-reality-show

UTV IRELAND HAS emphatically denied reports that it has commissioned a new reality show combining cast members from Tallafornia, The Valleys and Geordie Shore.

Several reports over the weekend suggested that the “most outrageous contestants” from all three shows would be joining forces for the new station’s inaugural reality offering – to be called Cast And Present.

The reality stars would share an apartment in Dublin and do nightclub appearances around Ireland, the reports said.

But UTV Ireland said today that their commissioning process would not begin until the station launches in January 2015. A spokesperson told the reports were false, adding:

[This show] will not be airing on UTV Ireland.

Calum Best was reported to have signed on for the show, alongside Phil Penny and Nikita Murray of Tallafornia fame.

UTV Ireland said today that any shows they commission “will reflect the people and culture of the Irish audience UTV Ireland aims to serve”, adding in a statement:

We are also seeking programming that will entertain and inform, and engage with the audience through relevant public service content.
