THE ONE DIRECTION boys have absolutely terrible tattoos. It’s a fact. But this is just taking the piss.
Dearly departed band member, solo star and Extremely Good Looking Person Zayn Malik posted this image to Instagram last night:
Yes, that’s a phoenix, permanently inked on the side of his face.
And the letters ‘M.O.M’ aren’t a reference to his mam, which might have redeemed it somewhat – they’re the initials of the title of his debut album, Mind of Mine.
In the same session, he also got two tattoos on either side of his neck.
Fans are unsurprisingly having conniptions, bombarding his Instagram with comments ranging from puzzled to hysterical.

Shout out to this fan who warned Zayn to never get a face tattoo – a mere two hours before he got a face tattoo.
Zayn, we must remind you that you once got a massive tattoo of your fiancée on your arm, then broke up with her two years later. You do not have a good track record with these things.
