Here's what Aodhán Ó Ríordáin had to say about the man pretending to be him on Tinder

Ah here.

PEOPLE ALL OVER the world have been caught out on Tinder by phoney profiles.

And now it seems that someone is now impersonating Labour TD Aodhán Ó Ríordáin on the dating app.

This afternoon, Ó Ríordáin revealed that friends had informed him that a mysterious fellow named Paul was using his photo on Tinder.

In fairness, Aodhán Ó Ríordáin is rather handsome — we included him on our list of homegrown rides — so you can’t really blame Paul for wanting to pretend to be him.

Ó Ríordáin then posted a screenshot of the Tinder profile in question.

So many questions!

Why is Paul so curt? Why does he feel the need to clarify that he’s not 55? What kind of ”Daytime fun” is he talking about? Does he not realise people work?

At least it looks like Ó Ríordáin is taking the whole thing in his stride.

If you’re reading this, Aodhán, and need support on the matter, might we suggest talking to Holly Carpenter?
