Yes, redheaded ladies have always viewed Ariel as one of their own — a kindred spirit, if you will.

It has been confirmed that a forthcoming live action remake of The Little Mermaid will feature Ariel with… blonde hair.

Chloe Grace Moretz, who is set to portray the mermaid in the film, made the startling revelation in an interview earlier this week.

We’re going off the Hans Christian Anderson novel, so I’ll actually have blonde hair.

ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS.
