A CLIP FROM a 2012 episode of Judge Judy was posted on YouTube three days ago.
In the short time since, it has been watched nearly five million times. It’s no surprise because it’s extremely cute. The video shows the no nonsense TV judge reaching breaking point over a pet ownership dispute.
According to People Magazine, the full episode featured a dispute over two individuals both claiming to be the rightful owner of a dog called Baby Boy.
The woman in possession of Baby Boy ‘insists she legally bought the dog from someone selling the pet on the street’, however Baby Boy’s original owner claims that the dog was taken from him and sold without his knowledge. He just wants to be reunited with Baby Boy.
Usually Judge Judy lets the humans talk it out (with some very harsh but effective mediation), however this time she let Baby Boy decide who his real owner was. She firmly commanded the woman holding Baby Boy to place him on the ground.
Baby Boy runs straight over to his previous owner, who later said “That’s what happens when you buy a dog for fifty bucks outside of the mall.”
Hopefully in the five years since this episode aired, Baby Boy and his owners have had a nice drama-free life.
