THE MTV MOVIE and TV Awards were broadcast last night, and much talk has been devoted to the speech Chris Pratt delivered upon accepting the MTV Generation Award.
The 38-year-old actor, whose career accelerated massively following his casting in Parks and Recreation back in 2009, used the moment to impart a little wisdom.
And sure no better time than the moment you’re recognised as an icon for your generation, right?
The speech featured all the usual suspects; love, family and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; nothing strange there.
And then Chris went off on one.
From offering advice on how to give a dog medicine to schooling viewers on the best way to, ehm, ‘poop at a party’, Chris left no stone unturned when it came to the old life advice.
In fact, he even entitled it; ’9 rules from Chris Pratt’.
This being the Generation Award, I’m going to cut to the chase and I’m going to speak to you, the next generation. I accept the responsibility as your elder, so listen up.
