VLOBBROTHERS IS A popular YouTube channel that covers all sorts of topics – from the serious to the frivolous.
This week John, one half of the pair, drafted his wife Katherine in to make a video because of a special Christmas present she received.
Her mam gave her an old recipe book used by her grandmother in the 50s
It was jam packed full of recipes and meals that just aren’t common now – like Golden Rabbit – so they tested them out
Golden Rabbit didn’t look the most appetising of meals – it’s basically tinned soup over crackers
“This is not on the list of things I want to eat again” says Katherine
Next up was something called Popovers – which “tasted like bread”
Beer dressing features the unique ingredients of mayo, mustard, horseradish and actual beer
They knew how to dress salads back in the day, no doubt.
