WE’VE LONG SUSPECTED George Clooney to be a sounder, but now we have actual proof.
Pat Adams is a longtime Clooney fan who lives in a retirement home in the village of Sonning, near the actor’s English residence – staff members there say she has often talked about meeting him.
For her 87th birthday last week, they decided to make that wish come true by asking George to pop by.
She mentions every day how she would love to meet him, especially as he lives so near to [the home]. So letters have been sent asking would it be possible for her dream to come true.
They didn’t think it would actually come to pass, but on Sunday morning he showed up with a handwritten note and a bunch of flowers, surprising both Pat and the staff:
Ah lookit.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain, Pat took the meeting in her stride:
I was just thrilled to meet him. He was the perfect gentleman and a delight. Charming man. I shook his hand, perfectly natural, and that was it.
Life dream achieved. Happy birthday, Pat!
