Graham Norton told Stephen Colbert the secret to his great celeb interviews (it's drink, BTW)

Very simple really.

IF YOU’VE WATCHED The Graham Norton Show at all, you’ll have noticed that Graham has a supreme talent for knocking some craic out of almost any celebrity.

How does he do it, though? Well, it’s easier than you’d think.

After appearing on Good Morning America yesterday morning to promote his novel Holding, Graham visited Stephen Colbert for more book chat.

Colbert, however, was more interested in finding out how Graham gets his guests all relaxed and loosey-goosey. Stephen, pal, it’s drink.

We liquor them up… If you come out, and there’s a cocktail waiting for you, you immediately think ‘This might be a nice time’!

He then pointed out what Stephen had offered him:

Water, hello. Not even a cracker, nothing. Just water.

Watch the full, very endearing interview here – they touch on grumpy guests, celebrity show-offs, and of course, Trump.

Bestselling author, excellent talk show host and guest… Is there anything you’re not good at, Graham?
