This man hilariously recreated his sister's Instagram photos with cats

Art.

STUCK FOR AN idea for what to get your siblings for Christmas? Do what this guy did, and recreate all their Instagram photos with cats.

Gordy Yates writes on his blog:

My twin sister Meredith is so great and I am so bad. Every year on my birthday, she gets me something cool. And I’m the worst brother because I never get her anything for her birthday.

Meredith is married with two kids, while Gordy is single and living it up in Taiwan. He thinks that she’s more grown up than he is, despite them being the exact same age.

“It’s like I feel that I’m not quite an adult so I don’t need to give people things but they should give things to me,” he writes.

So this year, for their 28th birthday, he decided to surprise Meredith by recreating 28 of her Instagram photos – from her fashion blogger-style outfit photos…

To her yoga poses…

…To the ones of her with her children. In place of his nephews and nieces, Gordy used a cat, because of course.

The cat isn’t even his – Gordy told Babble that he asked around his church for a cat to borrow. As you do.

He did eventually find one (her name’s Sophie) but she was “not a happy camper” and “wasn’t a very good model either, TBH”.

But all his efforts in cat-wrangling paid off, because Meredith loved the photos, and the rest of the world does too. Kudos, Gordy and Sophie!
