THERE’S SOMETHING REALLY touching about sound teachers. It’s like you expect them to be complete monsters.
One teacher from North Carolina is going insanely viral today thanks to his personalised handshakes for every student of his fifth grade English class.
Barry White Jr teaches at Ashley Park PreK-8 School in Charlotte, and uses the custom shakes to welcome his kids to class.

He told Good Morning America:
I’m pumped up and then we start doing the moves and that brings them excitement and pumps them up for a high-energy class.
He explained he started with one handshake last year, and it became contagious.
I saw how much it meant to them, so I said, ‘Come on. Everyone come on.’ Then it was my full class, then it was kids from other classes. Now I have 3rd graders wanting to do it too.
He says he remembers most of the moves from muscle memory now, so it’s not as difficult as it looks.
The video currently has over 23 million views and 394,000 likes since it was uploaded yesterday.
If only we all had a teacher like Barry, eh.
