First look at Benedict Cumberbatch playing genius Alan Turing in new film

Cumberbatch? Check! Computers? Check! Turing? Check!

YOU MAY REMEMBER that last month a computer officially passed the Turing Test for the first time.

It managed to fool people into thinking it was a 13-year-old boy.

The Turing Test is named for Alan Turing, a British mathematician, code breaker, computer scientist, philosopher, marathon runner (PHEW) who’s the subject of a new film starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley.

The Imitation Game is due for release in November and is already generating Oscars buzz.

The first full length trailer for the film has now been released, sending Tumblr into a frenzy and piquing our film-loving interests.
