Twitter reacts to Kim Kardashian having 'nothing bad to say' about Donald Trump

Twitter is divided on her response.

IN MAY OF this year, a photo circulated of  Kim Kardashian’s visit to the Oval Office, which was organised in order to discuss prison reform with President of the United States, Donald Trump.

The meeting of minds which took place between two of America’s best-known reality TV stars sent Twitter into a complete tailspin for obvious reasons.

However, given the outcome of the meeting - the President ultimately granted clemency to Alice Marie Johnson, a 63-year-old woman who was given a life sentence in prison for a nonviolent drug-related crime – Kim errs on the side of caution when discussing the 45th POTUS.

And she wasn’t about to take the bait while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live – a show which devotes much of its time to criticising Trump -  earlier this week.

Jimmy kicked off with:

I know that you’re not necessarily a Trump supporter. I know your husband, Kanye, seems to like him a lot. Does he still like him? Do you guys argue about that? Do you talk politics and have debates?

To which Kim replied:

You know what, no. I always respect what the other person thinks and, you know, to make it clear when Kanye… we would talk about it and we would talk about policies and he doesn’t necessarily agree with the policies, he likes his kind of personality and how he made it to be president when everyone really underestimated him.

Heading Jimmy off at the pass before he could delve any deeper into the subject, Kim suggested he wouldn’t be getting any snarky remarks.

I have nothing bad to say about the president. You know, he’s done something amazing.

“Right, because you still have people on the list,” Jimmy quipped in return.

While Kim might have nothing bad to say about Trump, some Twitter users had a few choice words for Kim in the wake of the recent interview.
