HEARING SPLASHING NOISES in a pool he was about to clean, a US cleaner noticed a ground squirrel (or prairie dog) struggling in the water.
He fished it out and spent an hour nursing the poor squirrel back to health, filming the whole time.
At first the little guy looks almost definitely dead…
But after an abdominal massage, it begins to show signs of life
The squirrel takes a nap in its rescuers kneepad
And then pops its head up and begins to look around
After another little while, it’s well enough to scamper back into the woods
Doesn’t it just warm your heart?
