Some genius is making flip flops emblazoned with Donald Trump's contradictory tweets

Brilliant.

SO. IT’S SEPTEMBER 2017 and Donald Trump is still the President of the United States. Just a reminder.

While we’ve lost count of the many times Trump has contradicted himself so far, someone has devised an excellent way of keeping track.

Last week, a mysterious company called President Flip Flops popped up on social media, selling slider flip flops emblazoned with Trump’s flip-flopping tweets.

They currently come in three editions – ‘Electoral College’:

The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy. (November 2012)
The Electoral College is actually genius in that it brings all states, including the smaller ones, into play. Campaigning is much different! (November 2016)

‘Syria’:

AGAIN, TO OUR VERY FOOLISH LEADER, DO NOT ATTACK SYRIA – IF YOU DO MANY VERY BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN AND FROM THAT FIGHT THE US GETS NOTHING! (September 2013)
Congratulations to our great military men and women for representing the United States, and the world, so well in the Syria attack. (April 2017)

And ‘Sources’:

Remember, don’t believe ‘sources said’ by the VERY dishonest media. If they don’t name the sources, the sources don’t exist. (September 2016)
An ‘extremely credible source’ has called my office and told me that Barack Obama’s birth certificate is a fraud. (August 2012)

Oooof. If you’re thinking, hey, where are all the others? They’re already on it:

There will definitely be future opportunities for more editions. You can suggest new ones on Twitter using #PresidentFlipFlops.

And there’s more – 10% from the sale of each pair will go to the American Civil Liberties Union, which provides legal assistance to people whose rights are at risk, such as the people affected by Trump’s ultimately failed travel ban earlier this year.

*round of applause*
