People losing their sh*t over this sexist job description

“Female candidates preferred.”

vestra Source: LinkedIn

YESTERDAY, A WEB company in Toronto posted the above job advertisement looking for a SEO specialist to join their team.

But there was something slightly puzzling at the bottom of the ad:

Please note that the position requires filling in the responsibilities of a receptionist, so female candidates are preferred.

confused Source: Wordpress

Once it was spotted, it became something of an internet phenomenon

With everyone asking similar questions

The company in question are Vestra Inet – and they have since apologised since the controversy exploded.

But it’s just one of those job listings that nobody can get their head around

Bringing out so much bemusement

And some top notch sarcasm too
