7 strangely relaxing Instagram accounts that will soothe your tired brain

We can’t explain why it works. We just know it does.

SOCIAL MEDIA CAN be stressful, but these Instagram accounts are helping thousands of people bliss out. Press play and give your brain a break.

1. Sandisfying

Wet sand chopped up, sliced in two, and generally manipulated in an extremely satisfying fashion. We don’t know why it works, but it does.

2. seblester

Beautiful calligraphy. Look at that Beyoncé logo, for example. SO PRECISE.

3. petstylistt

Dogs and cats being Very Good Boys and Girls, patiently getting their fur clipped and blow dried. So lovely!

4. slimequeeens

Slime is HUGE on Instagram right now, with scores of accounts dedicated to videos of people touching, stretching, and poking the jelly-like substance. Weirdly nice.

5. _emmas_sweets

Perfectly accurate cookie icing. So mesmerising.

6. annettelabedzki

Like slime, paint mixing is also strangely soothing to the people of Instagram. And TBH, we completely get it after watching this.

7. kirstendo

Psychedelic paint marbling that you could watch for hours.
