New device claims to translate your dog's thoughts into English

IF YOU HAVE ever wondered what your dog was thinking, you are in for a treat, because a group of Scandinavian researchers have developed a product which apparently translates your canine pal’s thoughts into English.

The Nordic Society for Invention and Discovery’s No More Woof device is…

… a small gadget that uses the latest technology in micro computing and EEG to analyse animal thought patterns and spell them out in human language using a loudspeaker.

Hmm. We can’t deny that we’re a little sceptical, but the NSID have managed to raise more than $16,000 since they launched an Indie Gogo campaign with this video on December 16, far exceeding their $10,000 goal.

Clearly there are lots of believers out there.  What do you think?
