Jamie Dornan, who took the Best TV Actor and Rising Star awards at Saturday’s ceremony, is up for best Leading Actor for his role as serial killer Paul Spector in the BBC series.

The Fall has also been nominated for best Mini-Series, battling against The Great Train Robbery, In The Flesh and Southcliffe for the title.

Chris O’Dowd has received a best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme nomination (alongside his co-star Richard Ayoade) for The IT Crowd, which garnered four nominations in total.

Also representing Ireland is the ever-reliable Graham Norton, who’s up for best Entertainment Performance and best Comedy Entertainment Programme.
