FINDING A MESSAGE in a bottle is so exciting.
Could it be a map to hidden treasure? Or a message from someone stranded on a deserted island? Or maybe a message from two lads on the rollover?
Thirteen-year-old Robbie Chappell was walking his dog near a harbour in Hampshire last week when he discovered something exciting – a message in a Heineken bottle.
His mum, Catherine, told Metro that they had “all these exotic ideas” of what the note might be.
[His stepdad] Robert thought it would be a good idea to film a grand opening. It could have been anything.
Instead, what they found was a note from a couple of lads ‘on the sesh’ the day before.
Out our nuts on cocaine! Massive love for the sesh! Lots of love, Sesh Gremlims [sic]
Oh. Robbie reacted pretty well though:
The family posted the ‘grand opening’ video on Facebook, where it was much more well-received – it’s been shared over 17,000 times and counting.
“I do wonder if the people involved have seen it at all. I’d be surprised if they haven’t,” said Robert.
