NO US PRESIDENTIAL election would be complete without Saturday Night Live. Remember Tina Fey’s impression of Sarah Palin back in 2008? It basically won the election for Barack Obama. Iconic.

Last night, Saturday Night Live returned for its season premiere and as you’d expect, they poked fun at last week’s presidential debate.

Kate McKinnon reprised her role as Hillary Clinton and the show enlisted a familiar face to step in as Donald Trump

Yes, Alec Baldwin!

They poked fun at everything from Trump’s pronunciation of the word ‘China’ to his claims that his microphone was tampered with ahead of the debate.

My microphone is broken. She broke it with Obama. She and Obama stole my microphone. They took it to Kenya. They took my microphone to Kenya and they broke it and now it’s broken.

And yes, there was an abundance of sniffing.

It also touched on Trump’s failure to release his tax returns, his assertion that China invented global warming and his role in the birther movement.

And it featured Hillary Clinton crying tears of sweet, sweet relief.
