PICCOLO ME IN Sydney has a bit of form when it comes to new inventions capturing the world’s imagination.
Last year they came up with the deep friend Nutella ice cream and Malteasers dessert.
And now they have created the croissant cheeseburger
Which is exactly what you would expect
And it’s gone so global that the French media is questioning whether the croissant should be used in such a way
It’s a national pastry treasure.
And it’s got so popular this week that it’s legitimately taken off as a “food trend”
Piccolo Me call it the Cheesy Frenchy – which can’t not be said in an Australian accent.
As The Telegraph down under describes:
Is it a burger? Is it a croissant? Both. This love child of American and French cuisine includes a beef patty, American cheddar, pickles, onion and mustard on a fresh croissant.
Keep up the good work, lads
They make their burger dreams come true.
