Helen Mirren continues her quest to be the Soundest Person Ever

Helen Mirren is quite clearly the Dame of Being REALLY SOUND.

HELEN MIRREN ALREADY proved she had something of a heart of gold when she visited a sick child dressed as the Queen last week.

But this weekend she showed that her Soundest Person in the World credentials are solid by making an appearance at London festival As One in the Park to watch a band she’d previously shouted at in the street.

Mirren caused something of a stir earlier this month when she burst out into the street during a performance of her play The Audience in London and let loose on the Batala London samba band who were playing outside.

She felt that they were disrupting her play and Mirren, in costume as The Queen, gave them a piece of her mind.

Two days later, Mirren obviously reconnected with her inner soundness and explained herself to the press outside the theatre while wearing a t-shirt promoting the festival:

So, this weekend she made an appearance at the festival with her husband and to have a chat with the band

Speaking to The Sun, member of the group John Rowlands said that she was “really sweet” and “she loves us and she loves the drumming. Just not outside her theatre”

Having previously pledged to attend the event to see them play, Mirren reportedly said;

I said I’d be here and here I am. A Dame always keeps her word

Listen, at this stage if you looked up “How to be sound” a picture of Helen Mirren would automatically pop up:

What a woman.
