This girl tried to apply makeup on the dancefloor and it did not go well

“Couldn’t see because it was dark. Waited an hour before checking my handy work.”

THERE ARE SKILLED makeup artists who can weave their magic in the most trying of circumstances – but even they wouldn’t recommend a packed, dark nightclub dancefloor.

Australian blogger Michelle Andrews was out on Saturday night when she decided that was the very place for a quick touch-up.

And the result when she checked an hour later was hilarious

Posting to Facebook on Sunday morning, Michelle wrote:

I was extremely intoxicated last night. Was a little shiny in me T-Zone. So I decided putting a lil powder on my face in the middle of the dance floor was a stellar idea. Couldn’t see because it was dark. Waited an hour before checking my handy work. Amazing.

Her drunk selfie from the night before blew up on her blog’s Facebook page this week – with over 2000 likes and most of the comment section applauding her efforts.

But not all.

She received some bodyshaming anonymous messages about her mistake – as she documented on the MamaMia website down under

But Michelle ignored them and finished her piece with this message:

If those haters can’t appreciate a powdery, drunk, ridiculous photo when they see one, then they don’t deserve a second of my time, anyway.
And for the women out there who have also had a makeup faux pas after drinking one (or five) too many, I salute you. I champion you. And I promise to always giggle at and delight in your dorky selfies.

Well played.
