Saturday Night Live mocked THAT Kellyanne Conway couch photo in the most perfect way

Kellyanne kneeling here, Kellyanne kneeling there, Kellyanne kneeling everywhere.

EARLIER THIS WEEK, Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway became embroiled in an unlikely scandal when she was pictured kneeling on the couch in the Oval Office:

People were not impressed that she had her feet on the couch, forcing her to come out and clarify her actions on Fox.

I was being asked to take a picture in a crowded room with the press behind us, and I was asked to take a certain angle and was doing exactly that. I certainly meant no disrespect. I didn’t mean to have my feet on the couch.

This didn’t stop the incident being labeled ‘couchgate’, or the photo becoming a bit of a meme:

Kate McKinnon has been playing Conway on Saturday Night Live for the past few months, and last night, they referenced the furore in a subtle but excellent way.

They didn’t devote a whole bit to it – instead, viewers spotted McKinnon silently kneeling and texting in the background of other sketches:

It was like a politically-themed Where’s Wally. Where would she pop up next?

Needless to say, viewers were into it:

Keep knocking it out of the park, SNL.
